Yesterday I won a pair of tickets to see these guys in a secret show here in New York City. Basically, the WNBC website opens a contest once a day that asks you to identify the four sides of a particular fountain in a particular park downtown and what they mean -- in other words, it's kind of like the Da Vinci Code for East Village hipsters.
Regardless, I'm glad I'm going because this band's latest album is probably the best and most audacious 80s electro-pop throwback to come along since Jay Gordon and Orgy hung up their hair spray.
