I really wish it weren't the case, but I find myself consistently proven right when it comes to my theory about the female writers featured in Salon -- namely that most of them suck.
Case in point: Erica Kennedy writes what has to be the worst damn thing to ever appear on the site; seriously, this is flat-out painful to read.
Also, as it turns out, the batshit crazy documentary producer whose petty behind-the-scenes grudge turned into the biggest WTF? moment of last night's Oscars, used to be a regular Salon contributor. Because -- of course.
By the way, it's International Women's Day.
