A very wise young man recently made me understand that I'm kind of an idiot. For some time now, this site has landed me freelance writing gigs as well as the occasional new media consulting job. Still, I've never used DXM to actively solicit potential clients, instead simply relying on the exposure I get here, at the Huffington Post and so on to speak for itself. In other words, I've always excelled in promoting just about everyone and everything except myself.
Well, considering the number of hits I regularly get and the viral readership I can pull in through my connections and contacts, it only makes sense to be more proactive in my search for freelance work (as was suggested by the aforementioned young man). Hence, there's now an extended bio attached to my profile in the top right hand corner of this page as well as information about just a few of the services I've been quietly providing on and off for the last year and a half and will continue making available to businesses, political organizations, private parties, you get the picture.
Just figured I'd give the regulars a heads-up that this is the direction I'm heading in these days. (Obviously, It shouldn't have much of an effect on the output here, since this site essentially acts as one big advertisement for me.) If nothing else, you can now see my extensive work experience spelled out in black and white.
