Aiming Low

Since you more than likely wouldn't be caught dead wearing soiled overalls and riding around a supermarket in Ocala, Florida on one of those Fat-Ease motorized scooters, you probably had no idea that Fox News recently started its own opinion and commentary website.

"The Fox Nation" (subtle, right?) launched last week and is pretty much everything you'd expect from the reactionary doofs at Fox. In fact, the only thing surprising about it is the comical level of chutzpah it took to create a website which, by its very existence, implies that the regular Fox News Channel site is anything other than opinion and commentary. I guess, though, that since we've seen the gloves come off and the clown shoes put on in the wake of the election and ascendency of Barack Obama, it would only make sense that the right wing's most powerful bullhorn would finally come up with an outlet for blind conservative rage that's stripped of all pretense when it comes to actual fairness.

Still, in the freshly minted tradition of spewing rhetoric that isn't simply incendiary but downright dangerous, I give you an image from the Fox Nation website yesterday that's startling -- basically because you just know it was no accident.
