Post Dispatch

A hearty congrats are in order for the Huffington Post, which I'm a regular contributor to, for winning a much-deserved Webby award for politics -- as well as the people's choice award for "Blog, Political."

The bloggers behind the scenes, I think, are the ones who deserve the most credit for the win, at the very least the people's choice honor; there are dozens and dozens of us working tirelessly, around the clock. But within the official Huffington staff, there are a whole lot of very good people who also bust their asses and aren't often singled out for praise -- people like Colin Sterling, Katharine Zaleski, Sam Stein and my friend and the guy who drafted me for HuffPost in the first place, Roy Sekoff -- the man behind the woman, so to speak. Arianna's certainly the face of the organization, but Sekoff's on the front lines every day and night, and he somehow manages to keep a smile on his face through it all.

Huffington's a terrific publication and its election coverage was top-notch. It earned this honor.
