Quote of the Day, Jr.

"I’m not supposed to know anything about foreign policy. Just thought I’d throw that out."

-- Herman Cain on his recent meltdown during an interview in which he was asked about Libya

Sorry, what?

Yes, you are, you shitty pizza-making buffoon. You're running for fucking president.

Again, Cain doesn't stand a chance in hell of becoming the GOP nominee, let alone president, but his time at the top of the Republican polls speaks volumes about the modern right's willful elevation of those who arrogantly flaunt their own provincialism and anti-intellectualism. It feels like it started with Palin and, if such a thing is possible, has just gone downhill since.
