Just take a minute and think about all the horseshit insanity that's stood in the way of significant health care reform in this country recently -- the surreal theatrics we've witnessed throughout the past year: town-hall disruptions, rumors of dragging Grandma in front of death panels, astroturf rallies organized almost entirely by Fox News, general fear-mongering, accusations of an encroaching socialist threat, the personally beneficial stall tactics of narcissists like Joe Lieberman, Max Baucus and Jim DeMint. Think about all the assholes who've played politics with the health and well-being of millions of Americans -- the unforgivable sideshow that's held even the hint of universal health care hostage while the profit-above-all medical insurance cartel has continued to make millions.
Think about all that -- then read the story of 5-year-old Kyler Van Nocker's ongoing battle with cancer, and his parents' battle with Health America insurance.

I swear, it's staggering to think that this goes on in America.
Whoever denies this kid coverage -- whoever so much as tangentially stands in the way of his mother and father getting what they need to ensure that their little boy has a chance of surviving -- that person should be brought up on criminal charges and have his or her ass thrown in prison for a very, very long time.
It's just inexcusable.
