Season's Greedings

I figure what with the fact that this is the first day of December, a few days before I head off to New York for a whirlwind trip that will bring Inara to me for the holidays and, dear God, a mere ten days before I turn 40, now's as good a time as any to kick off our big Holiday Pledge Drive around here.

You know how this works: I put my little hat out on the sidewalk and pester you nice people walking by into dropping in a few of your hard-earned dollars just so I'll leave you the hell alone -- or at least go take a shower.

I don't clutter it up with ads for products you probably wouldn't care about anyway; I don't demand a subscription or anything silly like that. This is a strictly reader-supported endeavor.

I put a lot of effort into Deus Ex Malcontent, but it's always been a labor of love and one that means more to me than just about anything else I do professionally. I love this little experiment of mine; it's my personality in every way and it's allowed me a voice I otherwise wouldn't have had. Judging by the surprisingly decent numbers I regularly pull in and the reaction from you guys, you enjoy the site and value the time and effort put into it.

So, if you feel like you can afford to in these tough times, please give a little toward it. Once again, I rely on you, the readers, to keep DXM running. You of course don't have to donate; I'll likely keep doing this regardless.
