Listening Post

At long last, we finally get an album that's a worthy successor to the lush gorgeousness, retro cool and sheer bewitching audacity of the debut Portishead record.

Rome is the brainchild of Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi, and it features Jack White and a never-more-sultry Norah Jones on vocals.

It's extraordinary stuff, and probably the album I'm most looking forward to in the world right now.

Listen to the entire record here.
