Usually, the weekly free song offered on iTunes sucks. Sure there's the occasional Company of Thieves or Guggenheim Grotto track -- but more often than not what you get is the kind of music you wouldn't want in your collection even if it didn't cost you a thing.

Last week's free song, though, was uncharacteristically spectacular. Here's Civil Twilight, with Letters from the Sky.
