I didn't get the chance to thank everyone who stepped up and contributed as we wrapped up the big Spring Pledge Drive a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, you guys are fantastic and it really humbled me to know that so many people give a crap about this site -- enough to actually dip into their pockets and donate a little of their hard-earned money to it.
One of the ways a lot of people helped out was by buying a copy of my memoir, Dead Star Twilight. So, with that in mind, I thought I'd bring back one of my favorite "accessories" to the book -- namely, the soundtrack. As anyone who's read DST knows, I mention quite a few songs and bands within the story -- mostly, music I happened to be listening to at the time. Well, to complement the book and help readers know just what songs I was talking about -- as well to set the appropriate mood -- I put together an iTunes playlist a while back with all the music from Dead Star Twilight. Like I said, an unofficial "soundtrack."
What follows is the actual playlist from the book as well as a bonus playlist of stuff I was either listening to while writing or music I just kind of thought fit the overall tone of the story. Hope you enjoy it, and hope it makes the experience of reading my little memoir that much better.
