The above cartoon, pubished yesterday in The Oklahoman newspaper (yeah, I didn't know they could read either) is causing all kinds of outrage. It depicts Supreme Court Justice nominee Sonia Sotomayor as a piñata -- because, get it, she's Hispanic.
Needless to say, this is completely offensive. Sotomayor is Puerto Rican, not Mexican.
Which means she should be wearing an oversized red, white and blue Daddy Yankee t-shirt that says "SOY BORICUA!" on the back, jeans four sizes too tight, and a pair of chancletas.
