A couple of weeks ago, I forwarded an advance copy of Dead Star Twilight to Dustin Rowles over at Pajiba.com -- essentially making it available for a legitimate, objective review on his site. Since Dustin and I know each other, he refused to write anything about my memoir himself, wisely citing a conflict of interest. Instead, he turned the book and the duty of reviewing it over to Jennifer McKeown, a regular contributor to Pajiba whom I've never met and would ostensibly have no influence over one way or the other.
I've spent the past week or so being scared shitless of what Jennifer would have to say.
Her review has finally been posted, and I think I now owe the girl a case of scotch.
