Prattle: Los Angeles

The "Shit People Say..." meme managed to exhaust itself almost instantly. But credit where credit is due -- this clip from Funny or Die called "Shit People DON'T Say in L.A." and featuring David Spade, Alison Brie, Diora Baird, Kevin Farley and Tommy Lee is damn funny.

I'm not sure what's better, the Coachella ecstasy-and-getting-laid line or "Look no further, officer, the cocaine is mine."

Brain Humor

There may be hope for Saturday Night Live after all.

Presumably in an effort to fill in all that laugh-free blank space between the Digital Shorts, SNL has hired Onion News Network/Funny or Die writer Chris Kelly for next season.

The Huffington Post has put up some of Kelly's best work over the past couple of years -- and these two clips had me just about on the floor.

The always-entertaining conservative media watchdog site Newsbusters is of course immediately decrying the cover, saying that Newsweek set out to purposely disparage Bachmann with it. Right, it's Newsweek that makes her look completely batshit.

By the way, it's taking no time at all for the cover to turn into an internet meme. Compliments of Funny or Die, here are a few quickly photoshopped gems:

Epic Dale

You know what's great? The original version of this is so brilliantly insane that it really can't be improved on comedically. On its own, it's funnier than any attempt to mock it.

This is still pretty goood, though.
