First of all, the idea that the brilliant Kristen Schaal is pulling duty for The Daily Show just makes me giddy to no end. Now add to that her part in the show's hilariously scathing attack on the GOP's abhorrent recent efforts to cut taxpayer funding for abortions resulting from rapes that don't qualify as "forcible," and you've got yourself a truly priceless TV moment.
Incidentally, in a concession to, oh, I don't know, sanity, House Republicans are now dropping the "forcible rape" language from the Hyde Bill. Just remember: largely old white guys, members of the supposed party of limited government that stays out of your life, pushing once again to tell women what they can and can't do with their bodies. The irony would be laughable if it weren't so fucking sad.
