In case anyone wonders why it's been so easy to justify tuning out lately, I give you this little item that I would've missed completely had I not decided to check in on what Taibbi's been up to: John Cusack apparently drew the wrath of the right wing echo chamber last week after making a joke on Twitter about how he supported the construction of a Satanic Death Cult Center outside the offices of Fox News in New York City.
Getting pissed over something this ridiculous would sound insane if, say, certain powerful megaphones within the Wingnut Nation hadn't spent yesterday, oh I don't know, bitching about how Labor Day is a socialist holiday.
