Listening Post

There are no two more kindred spirits in rock and roll than Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan, which made the duo's first album recorded together seem like an inevitablility. Christening themselves, appropriately, the Gutter Twins, their full-length release from earlier this year was everything fans of these two legends hoped it would be: dark, powerful, menacing, and permeated with a sense of impending dread that can only come from the awareness that the mistakes of the past will almost certainly be repeated.
