Cesca makes a damn good point about the screeching right -- led as always by Twitterific patron saint Sarah Palin -- and its out-of-whack sense of what desecrates a supposedly sacred piece of property. To wit, the usual suspects are losing their collective shit over a proposed Muslim community center three blocks from Ground Zero, but they're a-okay with the idea of a shopping mall being built directly on top of Ground Zero.

By the way, nine years after the fact I don't see anything being built at Ground Zero -- and that's the biggest shame of all.
